The estimated fuel economy of AWD trims is rated at 14 mpg in the city and 22mpg on the highways (16 combined) and rear-wheel drive versions are rated 14MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highways (17 combined).V6 versions can tow up to 6200 pounds and V8 engine models have a towing capacity up to 7,400 pounds. Now if you look into its safety features which play the most significant role while riding on the road at higher speeds, the 2014 Dodge Durango model has safety features like front side airbags, ADB (Antilock disc brakes), trailer sway control, side curtain airbags, traction and stability control. Packing sensors and a review camera is an option on the SXT version but standard on all versions of the new Durangos.
