2014 Ferrari LaFerrari

A natural competitor for McLaren revealed in Geneva 2013, the hush-up is finally off the 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari which made its world debut at Geneva International Motor Show. Ferrari’s President Luca di Montezemolo declared to call this supercar model LaFerrari. The car displays excellence in terms of technology, performance, futuristic styling, driving experience, and innovation.

It is Italy’s first hybrid car that encompasses advanced solutions and surpasses the rest of the range with the tag of the quickest and fastest car with 950 horsepower this showcases unparalleled engineering and unique design. It has set the benchmark for the whole automotive industry.

This mid-engine monocoque core two-seater is made from four carbon fiber materials making it lighter. LaFerrari is the first car in Ferrari records to be powered by an HY-KERS system technically capable of allowing full electric operation. The ICE symbolizes the peak of engine research and development with a 6262 cc V12 that blows out 800 CV and rises to the greatest of 9,250 rpm. It also features a compression ratio of 13.5:1 and a high specific production equal to 128 CV per liter. The engine is united with a 120 Kw(163CV) electric motor allowing it a combined power blowout of 963 CV.

Styling the hybrid car the Ferrari design team led by Flavio Manzoni urbanized the LaFerrari’s styling, working with engineers to accentuate the link between functioning and appearance. The resultant car is extremely close to Marque’s tradition which represents innovative designs. The appearance of car has a sharp downward-sloping nose and a very low bonnet, which enhances its masculine wheel arch.

A sculptural treatment has been given to the body which is greatly influenced by its F1-inspired aerodynamics and tail section that radiates inflexible sportiness. The steering wheel has been newly designed which sports all major instructions, and the gear shift paddles are longer and adjustable. The whole interior has a fiercely track-inspired F1 gearbox function. A full digital main instrument collection keeps a check on the vital stats of the car. The deeply bolstered sports seats are fixed in position, and reverse and auto mode controls are positioned on the center console. Pricing of the LaFerrari 2014 has yet to be announced.
